3,124 American’s died on Wednesday from COVID-19 and according to the Bangor Daily News that is more than on Sept 11th (2,997) and WWII’s Normandy Invasion (2,500).
Mainers filed almost 3,000 new unemployment claims this week; that is the most in one week since early July according to WABI.
There are calls for an investigation of why a Maine farm that, it turns out does not exist, was given $1.2M for the federal Paycheck Protection Program according to WABI.
Maine’s Catholic Diocese is also urging Mainers to get the COVID vaccine; easing some ethical concerns according to centralmaine.com.
