Their father who was unable to take care of five children, sent Corcoran and two other siblings to an orphanage. Muir and a brother stayed with their father and raised them in Chicago.

Corcoran’s daughter spent nine years online searching for her father’s sibling.  When she hit a road block she asked her son for help and he found Muir in 15 minutes.

As soon as Muir stepped off the plane Corcoran recognized his brother.  “I looked and said, there he is.”  Corcoran’s daughter says the two old guys are identical;  they look alike, talk alike and act alike. They even discovered they share the same favorite song, “Wabash Cannonball.”  The only difference:  Muir is Republican;  Corcoran is a Democrat.
