Unity Raceway: New Season, New Direction

 

Unity Raceway will open for the season May 26 at 1 p.m.. The racetrack will begin a new era and direction this season under Jere Humphrey. Humphrey has leased Unity Raceway from Ralph and Nancy Nason. It's a two-year lease for $35,000 per year.

Orono Man Arrested In Connection With Death Of Nichole Cable

According to the Sun Journal, a 20-year-old man from Orono is facing charges of murder in connection with the death of Nichole Cable, 15, whose body was discovered in the woods near Old Town on Monday.

Published reports say Kyle Dube is in custody at the Penobscot County Jail. He has been in jail since May 17,
