Actress Anne Kendrick From Maine Donates to Local Teachers Fund
Actress Anna Kendrick who starred in The Twilight Saga and is an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in ‘Up in the Air’ is a Maine native who attended Deering High School.
Anna Kendrick also starred in the Pitch Perfect movies. Kendrick has flash funded all 31 of DonorsChoose.org classroom projects in Maine. DonorChoose.org funds teacher requests for books, supplies, field trips and more. Kendrick and another donor will fund a total of 74 for the project in Maine this year.
Anna Kendrick makes frequent trips back to Maine and her hometown. The amount she will donate is not known but the donations show the typical amount for funding range from a few hundred bucks to more than $2,000 per project.
