It dawned on me over the weekend that I have now been at B98.5 for 16 years! I started working here in August 2000 and it is so hard to believe that 16 years have already gone by.

Just a few months after starting at the radio station, former morning show co-host Genny Judge, thought of and launched our first ever 'Tanksgiving' food drive. Honestly, I thought she was crazy, but 16 years later, it's so humbling to think of how many families that we have helped all thanks to the our awesome listeners and the Maine Army National Guard.

Other big moments of the 16 years was September 11, 2001. Just the numbness of what we were seeing on the television in our conference room and having to compose myself to go on the air.

It's been great meeting country artists over the years, probably the nicest of the bunch were Tracy Byrd, Suzy Bogguss and Aaron Tippin. I've met Blake Shelton, Darryl Worley, Martina McBride, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Blackhawk, LoCash, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, David Nail and so many more.

The two best parts of my job are the close friendships I have made with the people that I work with. So many people that I have worked with Randy, Sarah, Mike Poulin, Devin, Chad, many 'behind the scenes' people as well, Al, Julie, Merry, Dawn, Sharon, Ladesta, the whole staff rocks!

The other best part is our listeners. My favorite part of the day is the all request beestro and talking with you each and everyday. It's an honor to be a small part of your day and I never lose sight of that fact.
