Archie Comic Book Series Taking Turn to the Dark Side

I remember as I was growing up I would from time to time read Archie comic books. Veronica, Betty, Jughead, Moose and the gang were always funny and upbeat and the town of Riverdale was like an all- American city.  A new series of Archie comics will take a turn to the dark side.

‘Afterlife with Archie’ is a hardcore horror book that has the gang, including ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’, being involved with the undead, zombies, elder gods and incarnations. It’s also the first time an Archie comic book will be rated for teens and older.

It will be a monthly series and they say despite the macabre subject matter the core of Archie and his friends will be the same but there won’t be the typical, easy way out, happy ending.
