Chris Pratt Plays With a Cute Little Raptor in First ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Teaser
Pop culture nerds undoubtedly have a laundry list of things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving — maybe it’s Jeff Goldblum, or another great (and overwhelming) year of peak TV, or a new Star Wars sequel. For some of you, it might be this first teaser for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (oh, they’re just going to stick with that title? OK), which features Chris Pratt interacting with a cute little velociraptor. Although…if we’ve learned anything from these people and their terrifying attempts at playing god with “amusement” parks, it’s that you should never, ever get close to these things.
‘Justice League’ Proves That ‘Wonder Woman’ Needs Patty Jenkins
It’s no secret that Wonder Woman was such a hit that Warner Bros. (very wisely) pushed Gal Gadot’s DC superhero front and center in the marketing for Justice League. Unfortunately, fans hoping for a worthy follow-up to the Amazon warrior’s solo film may be fairly disappointed — not by her presence, which is understandably somewhat limited though always welcome, but by the way Diana Prince is presented in comparison to her masculine super-peers.

The ‘Justice League’ Rotten Tomatoes Score May Have Leaked Early
Today in “Oops, my bad”: Despite Warner Bros.’ commitment to ensuring the Rotten Tomatoes score for Justice League remains under wraps until tomorrow, it looks like that number might have leaked a little early. According to screenshots of the score, which has since been removed, the approval rating for the DCEU’s superhero ensemble is…well, it’s definitely not ideal, but it may be higher than some were expecting, depending on how you feel about the DC movies thus far.

Louis C.K. Accused of Engaging in Sexual Misconduct With Five Women
This afternoon, the New York premiere of Louis C.K.’s upcoming film I Love You, Daddy was canceled amid reports that the New York Times was on the verge of publishing a major story about the comedian. That story is, as many suspected, a damning exposé on C.K.’s history of alleged sexual misconduct. Five women went on the record with the Times to share stories of uncomfortable encounters with C.K., the oldest of which dates back to the late ’90s.
How Actress Paz de la Huerta’s Allegations About Harvey Weinstein Could Lead to His Arrest
Former Boardwalk Empire star Paz de la Huerta is the latest actress to come forward with damning allegations against disgraced executive Harvey Weinstein. In the weeks since the initial accusations surfaced in a pair of bombshell exposés, dozens of women (and counting) have courageously shared traumatic stories of sexual harassment, assault, and rape at the hands of one of Hollywood’s most powerful men. But this case is different from many others; the New York Police Department could bring felony charges against Weinstein based on de la Huerta’s allegations.
James Gunn Shares ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.’ Deleted Easter Eggs
While we wait for someone to find that damned elusive easter egg in Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn has generously shared a few easter eggs that didn’t make the cut in Vol. 2. The references appear to have been part of a deleted scene from the film, but it’s not one that was included on the official Blu-ray release back in August, making this a real sweet early Halloween treat.
Nine Films That Could Be Affected by the Weinstein Company Scandal
With Harvey Weinstein’s extensive history of sexual harassment and assault recently exposed, more women have come forward with new allegations of abuse. As the number of Weinstein’s accusers continues to grow, the film distribution company he co-founded with his brother Bob is reportedly negotiating a possible sale. The Weinstein Company has nine upcoming films on its slate, including The Current War; over the weekend, the potential awards contender had its release date pushed back from this fall to an undetermined date in 2018. But that’s not the only film that could be affected by the growing allegations against the company’s former executive.

And according to one of the film’s young stars, we might know what at least one of those scenes could be.
What’s Expiring From Netflix: October 2017
By now you’ve probably heard that 30 Rock is leaving Netflix Instant, and if you’re anything like me, you are distraught. Inconsolable, even. The good news is that we still have Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Parks and Recreation, so there’s that, at least. Anyway, 30 Rock isn’t the only title expiring from Netflix in October, so let’s commence the mourning, shall we?
We Almost Lived in a World Where Jeff Goldblum Was the Voice of Apple’s Siri

In the mournful words of the wise Adele, WE COULD’VE HAD IT AAAALLLLLL.
Oscar Accountants Predicted Their ‘Unlikely’ Envelope Mixup Days Before the Awards
It was the Best Picture Winner announcement heard ’round the world; for just a brief, hilariously awkward moment in time, when La La Land was erroneously declared the big winner of Oscar night 2017, we forgot all about our current political turmoil and embraced the total madness of Envelopegate. How could such a ridiculous mixup happen? The explanation for the confusion is fairly simple, but, in a twist befitting the ongoing insanity of this whole debacle, the dependable accountants of PricewaterhouseCoopers may have predicted their own error just days before the awards. The plot thickens.
