Barely a week after appearing in the Westminster dog show, a 3year old Samoyed named Cruz, died at a dog show in Colorado. The owner of Cruz, Lynette Blue and trainer Robert Chaffin, believe the dog was poisoned during the Westminster show and died a week later.
Seems a little strange to be talking about college football recruiting this time of year but the truth is college football coaches recruit year round. Alabama and LSU, two of the powerhouses in the SEC, are in a recruiting war over an 8th grader. Dylan Moses will graduate high school in 2017 but according to his father LSU and Alabama are his and his sons #1 school, everyone else is #2.
Joe Francis, the founder of Girls Gone Wild, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy seeking a reorganization of his holdings much like American Airlines and GM. Francis is in a long dispute with Steve Wynn, a casino mogul who has filed a lawsuit against Francis over a large sum on money.

Budweiser, or its parent company Anheuser-Busch, has had a lawsuit filed in federal court accusing them of watering down their beer. Not only Budweiser, but Bud Lite Lime, Bud Ice and Natural Ice have been suspected of being watered down.
Yogurt has long been thought of as women’s food and consumer surveys support that idea as women have dominated sales of the product. A company named Powerful is introducing a Greek yogurt for men to meet the health and needs of an active male. The new yogurt will be called ‘Powerful Yogurt’ and is an all- natural snack/meal.
The new Memorial Bridge that connects Maine and New Hampshire is expected to be completed this summer and the person that dedicated the old bridge in 1923 will be the same person dedicating the new bridge in 2013.

The country of Guam is having a big problem with brown tree snakes causing most birds native to Guam to become extinct. The brown snake population is estimated at 2 million and even though Hawaii is 3,000 miles away, they have long feared an invasion of brown snakes. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Service, Guam and the Pacific Islands have a way they believe will curb the population, they’re dropping dead mice laced with painkillers into the jungles of Guam.
