Five College Football Bowl games played on Saturday, December 28th and we are getting closer to the January 1st National Title Playoff Games. Saturday showed again in the bowl games, the team with the better record usually wins, but not always.
Three more bowl games are in the books, The Heart of Dallas Bowl, the Quick Lane Bowl and the St. Petersburg Bowl. In two of the games the team with the winning record won and in the third, one team dominated for three quarters and a try for a come back in the fourth came up short.

College football bowl games will take a rest on Christmas Day but the day after there are three games scheduled. The Quick Lane Bowlfrom Detroit will pit Rutgers (7-5) against North Carolina (6-6). Rutgers during the regular season rallied from a 35-10 deficit against Maryland to win 41-38, the biggest comeback in school history.
Two more bowl game played in this early part of the season. In the Poinsettia Bowl Navy beat San Diego State 17-16. Navy had a 13 yard gain on a crucial fourth down on the game-winning drive. It was a sloppy game by both teams with 7 turnovers in the game.
According to research from Canada beavers may be a contributor to global warming. We have heard about methane from cows being a big cause of global warming but it seems the same problem is coming from beavers.
