Barry White, the singer of love songs, will posthumously be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Thursday, September 12th. The two-time Grammy Award winner known for his rich sexy bass voice died July 4, 2003, and had hits like ‘Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe’ and You’re My First, My Last, My Everything’.

White’s biggest success came in the 1970’s with 106 Gold albums worldwide, 41 that also went platinum, plus 20 gold and 10 platinum singles and worldwide sales of more than 100 million. Guest speakers at the event will include White’s wife, Glodean, and Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown.
