I once heard a saying, ‘If you bite the snake that bit you, the poison won’t harm you.’  A saying I would want to try, but it seemed to have worked for a Nepali man.  55 year Mohamed Salmo Miya was working in his rice paddy when a snake called ‘goman’ in Nepal, also known as the Common Cobra, bit him. Police say he was being treated and was not in danger of dying.  After the snake bit Miya he caught it and bit it until it died. “I could have killed the snake with a stick but bit it with my teeth instead because it made me angry,’ said Myia. Because the reptile was not among snake species listed as endangered in Nepal, Myia will not be charged with killing the snake.
