Boston Bruins Drop Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to the Detroit Red Wings

The Boston Bruins spent all season racking up the best record in the NHL and gaining home ice advantage throughout the playoffs…after game one of post season that advantage is gone.

Detroit’s Pavel Datsyuk scored with 3:01 left in the game and that was the only goal scored. The Wings won 1-0 with Jimmy Howard and Tuukka Rask both making 25 saves.

Game 2 is the Boston Garden Sunday (April 20) afternoon live on our sister station, 1400 and 1490, Kool-AM. Pre-game starts at 2:30 pm.
