Chicken Pot, Chicken Pot, Chicken Pot Pie!!

Get ready for something yummy in your tummy! The nights are getting cooler and nothing is better than a hot meal to keep you and your family warm. It’s a proven fact that a full belly gives you a better night’s sleep. It may take a while but this pie is so worth it! Make sure you have a big pan because this chicken pot pie has 3 pounds of chicken!

Here are the ingredients for an amazing chicken pot pie!

3 lbs of chicken cooked and chopped
6 Tbsp sweet butter
6 Tbsp flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 small onion
package of 2 pie crusts
bag of mixed vegetables
1/4 cup of oil
1 cup heavy cream
5 cooked and chopped potatoes
1 cup celery
garlic powder

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

In a large fry pan melt and combine the butter, oil and flour. When thick, add onion, celery, cream and chicken broth. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder. When combined, add potatoes and veggies. Then add your chicken. Thicken for another 10 minutes.
Put everything into a pie shell (if it fits!) and cover it with a pie crust. Poke breathing holes in the top with a fork or a knife. Bake for an hour.
