Classes scheduled for the Katz Building at the University of Maine at Augusta have been cancelled for today (Oct. 8) due to a bomb threat.

According to a report in the Bangor Daily News, the building was evacuated due to the threat, but there are no reports of injuries.

The university confirmed the incident on its Facebook page.

The emergency situation in the Katz building is a bomb threat and all remaining activities and classes in the building have been canceled for today. We will update again once we have more information.
