Country News: Chris Stapleton to Release Two Albums in 2017

Chris Stapleton says one isn’t enough so he will be releasing two albums this year. According to tasteofcountry.com the two albums will be linked together conceptually. Both albums were recorded at the same time and will be released as volume 1 & 2. From A Room: Volume 1 will be come out on May 5 and From A Room: Volume 2 will be released later this year.

Brett Eldredge is celebrating his sixth consecutive #1 hit with ‘Wanna Be That Song.’ His sixth #1 hit is also the third #1 off his current album. Eldredge told tasteofcountry .com “This is one’s extra special because it’s about being a part in the soundtrack of somebody’s life. It’s about all the songs that led to this one.” Eldredge’s current single, “Something I’m Good At,” is currently climbing the country charts.

George Strait is not only a country superstar and hit maker but he is also pretty good at settling an argument. King George once helped Miranda Lambert and her dad mend fences after a disagreement over a tattoo. When Lambert was touring with Strait in 2006 she got a tattoo of guns and wings that took up her entire forearm and he dad was not happy, so much so he gave her the silent treatment. King George sent out nearly 100 fake tattoos’ and while taking a group picture of the tour had everyone wear one. According to tasteofcountry.com it got a good laugh from everyone and even Miranda father put one on which helped mend her relationship with her dad over the tattoo.
