Country News: Don Williams Tribute Album on the Way

The 'Gentle Giants: The Songs of Don Williams' tribute album is due out in May. The album will feature 11 re-imagined versions of some of Williams’ biggest hits: Gentle Giants will also include the voices of the Pistol Annies, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Chris Stapleton and Alison Krauss.

The Zac Brown Band have canceled their 2017 Southern Ground Music & Food Festival, to focus on their new album, 'Welcome Home'.  Originally scheduled for May 20-21, 2017, and announced as part of ZBB’s summer tour schedule, Southern Ground has been a staple for country fans in Charleston, S.C., since 2011. Fortunately, although the 2017 fest has been canceled, ZBB assure fans that the two-day concert event will be back in 2018.

Brandy Clark and Charlie Worsham are packing their bags to hit the road together on a new tour, An Evening With Brandy Clark & Charlie Worsham, kicking off this spring. Clark and Worsham, who are both signed to Warner Brothers Records, have played together many times in the past, but their Spring 2017 trek will be their first co-headlining tour. Beginning on April 6 and wrapping up on June 18.
