Country News: Kacey Musgraves Gets Hitched

Kacey Musgrave is now a married woman. Ruston Kelly and Kacey where married Saturday according to people.com. The wedding took place in Tennessee with the help of Musgraves sister and brother-in-law; they decorated which was a surprise to the couple. The couple got engaged Christmas Eve 2016.

Chris Young became the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday night. He was invited to become a member in late August when Vince Gill reached out to him with the invite. On theboot.com Young says Gill was the first concert he remembers going to in Nashville. Young also did a duet with Gill on Sober Saturday Night. When Gill surprised Young with the news of his Opry induction, Young was so stunned that he picked Gill up in the middle of the stage.

Cole Swindell tells theboot.com the best way he can think of to help people get over the tragedy of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting is to write songs that will help people heal. He says that’s what they do: We write songs. We sing them. He adds that he’ll keep showing up and playing music as long as the crowds keep coming.
