Country News: Urban and Underwood to Perform Together at Grammy’s
Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban will perform together during the 2017 Grammy Awards. Urban and Underwood spent much of December on tour together in Australia and New Zealand. No further details about their Grammys collaboration are known, but Urban’s newest studio album, Ripcord, includes a duet with Underwood, called ‘The Fighter.’
Following their hiatus of sorts in 2016, Lady Antebellum are ready to get busy in 2017. The country trio has announced plans for a new album and a summer tour. Lady A’s Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley each released solo projects in 2016, and Dave Haywood spent time producing other acts, but 2017 will bring a new album from them as a group: On June 9, they’ll release Heart Break, their sixth studio album. Lady Antebellum will begin their You Look Good World Tour on May 26 in Bakersfield, Calififornia. Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young will join them on the tour.
Cole Swindell will kick off his run as an opening act on Dierks Bentley‘s What the Hell World Tour on Thursday night in Dayton, Ohio, and he admits that he can’t quite believe that he is fortunate enough to tour with the man whom he says inspired his entire career. Swindell is especially excited to debut new production elements for his No. 1 hit ‘You Should Be Here,’ which was written in tribute to his late father.
