Christopher Norwood is asking the public to ‘withhold judgment’ about the incident.  Centralmaine.com reports that the lawyer for Norwood releases a statement about the incident.

Norwood’s two year old son almost drowned in the Kennebec River in Augusta on September 16th.  After an investigation Norwood was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

The toddler has been released from the hospital.

According to the report, Norwood is due to make his first court appearance in November.
