We’ve got some great news for people who live or work in Fairfield.

It looks like the Central Maine town is going to be getting a brand new Big Apple convenience store.

According to an article in the KJ, C. N. Brown has demolished the old Big Apple store on the corner of Main Street and Water Street.  Now, they are in the process of building a new, larger convenience store.

The article explains that Fairfield Town Manager Michelle Flewelling confirmed that the new store, which will be at 124 Main Street, will not only be much larger, but farther back from the road.  This will make it safer and more easily accessible for customers.

At this point, no opening date for the new store has been announced.
