Shailene Woodley won't have much time to rest after 'Divergent' -- we've got two sequels coming up, and Woodley's got more trouble to contend with. Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer just joined the ranks for 'Divergent 2,' officially titled 'Insurgent,' as Johanna, the leader of the the opposing Amity faction.

Lionsgate announced that Spencer will join Woodley, who reprises the character of Tris in the upcoming 'Insurgent,' the sequel to 'Divergent.' Spencer plays Johanna, the leader of the Amity faction, which gives Tris even more problems as she and Four (Theo James) are fugitives on the run from Jeanine, the leader of the Erudite faction, played by a returning Kate Winslet. Johanna, who once belonged to the Candor faction, is described in the novels as having a long scar running across her face, which leaves her blind in one eye.

In the upcoming sequel, Tris and Four will have to race against the clock to uncover the truth about why the Erudite and Jeanine are so determined to put a stop to the Divergent, and discover the hidden past about their world in an effort to protect its future.

Woodley, James and Winslet are all returning for the sequel, which will hit theaters on March 20, 2015, followed by 'Allegiant Part 1' and 'Allegiant Part 2,' which will be released on March 18, 2016, and March 24, 2017, respectively.
