Eaton Mountain Ski Area In Skowhegan Opens For Skiing

Eaton Mountain Ski Area opened this weekend for skiing and snowboarding. While that doesn't sound like a big deal, it's the first time since 2006 that Eaton Mountain Ski Area opened for skiing and snowboarding.

The mountain had opened for snow tubing and refreshments for the past few years, but electrical problems stopped the use of rope tows over the past few years.

If the crowds over the weekend were any indication, it looks like the public is happy to see the mountain open for skiing and snowboarding.
