Escape Artist Can’t Escape Water-Box Stunt
Escape artist, or in this case, non-escape artist, Spenser Horsman locked himself in a water tank while getting ready to open a magic show for Criss Angel. Horsman was forced to cancel his opening act after nearly drowning during the stunt.
He was locked inside a 30-inch glass box of water and lifted up by a crane. After struggling for 2 and half minutes it became evident he was not able to free himself. He was flailing his arms after he couldn’t release the final latch on the water-box.
Crews rushed to lower and free him and eventually he was taken to the hospital. This is the second time he has had trouble with this trick. In April he fell unconscious inside a water-box at Foxwoods Casino in in Connecticut.
