Family Fun for Halloween in Maine

Not everything has to be scary during Halloween. There are family friendly Halloween events coming up this month.

One of those is at Sandy River Farms in Farmington on Farmington Falls Rd. It’s the haunted corn maze with pumpkin patches and hay rides that runs from 10-4 each Saturday in October with the last date on October 28.

Sandy River Farms will host an ‘Amazing Maize’ on their 10 acre corn field. It’s a series of paths cut into the corn field that is fun for the whole family. Along with the maize is the ‘pick your own pumpkin patch’ with an old-fashion hayride. According to mainehauntedhouses.com there are thousands of pumpkins to choose from in all shapes and sizes.
