Former UMaine Football Coach Jack Cosgrove Named Colby College Football Coach

Former University of Maine football coach Jack Cosgrove will be the new coach of the Colby College Mules football team.

Cosgrove stepped down as coach of UMaine after the 2015 season and took over as the athletic director for the past two seasons. Cosgrove said he is excited about being the new coach of the Mules who have had a losing record the last three years.

Cosgrove said when he left Umaine he was burnt out from the grind of being a Division 1-AA football coach.  According to centralmaine.com Cosgrove realized he still could and wanted to coach football, and when the Colby opening emerged, he went for it.
