The New England Patriots could be without their star tight end this Sunday.

According to the NFL Network, Rob Gronkowski suffered a punctured lung during the Pats’ loss to the Seahawks Sunday night and might miss this Sunday’s game against the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco.

The injury presumably stemmed from an Earl Thomas hit during the second quarter, which caused Gronk to head to the sideline for four plays to undergo tests for a concussion.
