George Strait is a grandpa … again! He announced the arrival of his new granddaughter. Jilliann Louise Strait was born on Sept. 10. She is the second child of Bubba and Tamara Strait his son and daughter-in-law; Strait’s grandson, George Harvey Strait (who goes by Harvey), was born on Feb. 2, 2012.
In late September, Garth Brooks earned his seventh diamond-certified album (10+ million sold), and he’s going big to celebrate: The country superstar will play a free concert at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater in late October to commemorate the occasion. Brooks announced the free show, set for Oct. 24.
The rumors are true: Sam & Audrey are, indeed, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and the couple is performing together at the Ryman Auditorium tonight. When a concert listing for Sam & Audrey appeared on the Ryman’s website in September, fans began to speculate about who the mysterious duo could be and came up with none other than McGraw and Hill, whose given names are Samuel Timothy and Audrey Faith.
