Progress, technology, things evolve and improve, but most often at the expense of something or someone. Sarah Dyer and I were talking this morning on the Morning Buzz of things you don't see anymore and it kind of made me sad and nostalgic.

Think back to things that are not prevalent anymore. Here's just a few things that come to mind.

The payphone, there use to be a phone booth on just about every street corner in downtown, U.S.A. now cellphones have basically made them extinct.

Also, the milkman, growing up in Lewiston, I remember the red and white truck coming to the door with those glass bottles of milk. I have read that the milkman is making a come back!

Other things that I can think of that are fading away are the tollbooth work and cashiers in the big box stores.

What things do you miss from back in the day?
