It’s Maine Apple Season

There’s nothing better than fall in Maine. Cool, crisp mornings, the colors of the fall foliage, raking the leaves into a huge pile and jumping into it and apple season!

Some of my favorite childhood memories, while growing up in Auburn, were the family piling into the station wagon and driving to the local apple orchards. The apple picking, the smell of freshly baked apple pies, and the taste testing of apple cider can’t be beat. Of course most of what we would buy at the orchards was eaten before we got back home!
