Keith Urban Announces 2013 Tour Dates, Takes Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch Along for the Ride

What happens when Keith Urban, Little Big Town and newcomer Dustin Lynch embark on a road trip with no functioning radio? They sing a medley of their favorite tunes, of course! The Aussie superstar enlisted his future tourmates for a hilarious video to announce the first leg of his upcoming 2013 headlining tour, which is scheduled to kick off next July.

It seems as though the run will coincide with the release of Urban’s next studio album, which is expected to drop in the new year. The ‘For You’ singer has been feverishly working on the upcoming project for the better part of 2012, telling multiple major media sources that the completion of the album is his top priority.

“I wanted to have everything around me be totally unfamiliar to me,” Urban says of the recording process of the new collection. “And I think it’s great in a sense that all sorts of stuff is coming out that I normally haven’t done before.”

“It just isn’t easy to do,”  he adds of of the creative shake up. “But it just feels very, very strong in me to do it. I am putting a tour on next year, but it won’t be early in the year, so there is somewhat of a need for an album sooner than later. But I just would like for the album to be right.”

No ticket sale dates have been announced, but fans can visit Urban’s official website to request information for specific dates of the tour.
