Kennbec Valley Humane Society Is Waving Adoption Fees For Rest Of Summer

The Kennebec Valley Humane Society is waving pet adoption fees for the remaining few weeks of summer. This is the busiest time of year for the animal shelter, they currently have more than 125 cats and more than 30 dogs. That's about twice what they usually have during the winter months.

Until September 22nd, the last day of summer, the Kennebec Valley Humane Society will waive adoption fees for cats that are at least 7 months old and for dogs that have been in the shelter for more than a month.

The shelter is still suggesting donations of $25 for cats and $50 for dogs. The usual fees are $75 for cats and $125 for dogs.
