After leaving the station and creeping up the highway back to our home in Clinton yesterday, I couldn't wait to sit back and relax on the couch with a nice cup of hot cocoa.

HA HA!! Fat chance!

When you have three crazy kids, the best you can hope for is a moment of silence when they are chewing their food. However, it's all worth it to spend the day with them.

I'm a pretty creative mom. The things kids will do when you turn it into a game...(insert evil laugh here). I did four loads of laundry yesterday and I really didn't want to fold it. Who would? So I brought out the baskets of clothes and I set up three small hampers in the living room. One for Anderson, one for Jayden and one for Brad. I told them I was going to time them to find out how long it would take for them to separate their clothes one piece at a time, one person at a time. Boy, were they excited!

It took them a frenzied 9:48. Job done! Then they had to bring them to their rooms and fold and put them away. They all received hugs and kisses and thank yous and another couple hours to play games with. We played a game of Trouble, ten games of Chameleon Crunch and a LONG game of Sorry! We played so much, it was 6:30 pm by the time we were done and then I had to make dinner.

Turn OFF the video games. Turn ON your brain. SPEND TIME WITH YOU KIDS!  All kids ever want is attention, love, respect and happiness. Oh, and the occasional cookie. Isn't that what we ALL want?
