Looking Back on 2004 ACM Awards Show
Now that the 2014 ACM awards show is over I thought it would be cool to look back on the ACM show that took place 10 years ago. It was held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas where this year some acts were performing. The show was hosted by Reba McEntire which was her third year as host.
There were 21 performances that night and that made the show go over the allotted time scheduled. During the show country music fans were still able to vote for their favorite performer for Entertainer of the Year up until the time of the presentation.
The big winner that night was Toby Keith, he won three major awards.

Female Vocalist: Martina McBride.
Vocal Duo: Brooks and Dunn.
Group: Rascal Flatts.
New Artist: Dierks Bentley.
Song of the Year: Three Wooden Crosses by Randy Travis.
Single of the Year: It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere by Alan Jackson.
Vocal Collaboration: It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet.
