Maine Gas Prices Drop This Week

Maine gas prices were down about a nickel a gallon this week. The statewide average is now at $2.64 per gallon. Nationally, the average was also down five cents per gallon, for an average of $2.65 per gallon.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported in Bangor and Orono at $2.43 a gallon.

Experts are saying that gas prices are expected to fall throughout the rest of the year. With many states seeing gas at or below $2 a gallon by the end of the year.
