Maine Gas Prices Higher This Week

Last week Mainers saw gas prices jump by 10 cents per gallon, this week they are higher by almost five cents per gallon. According to the price-monitoring website GasBuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Maine is now at $1.953.

The national average is even higher at $1.987 per gallon, also higher by almost five cents per gallon.

The lowest reported gas price in Maine is from a gas station in Casco with a gallon of gas coming in at $1.75 per gallon.

New Jersey has the lowest average gas price in the country at $1.752 per gallon.
