Maine Gas Prices Inch Higher This Week

After several weeks of gas prices dropping in Maine, this week they barely inched up less than a half cent per gallon for a statewide average of $1.78 per gallon. That's according to the price-monitoring website GasBuddy.com.

Nationally, the gas prices were higher by almost four cents per gallon to $1.75.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported in Bangor and Brewer at $1.64 per gallon.
