Maine Gas Prices Slightly Lower This Week

Maine gas prices dropped by an average of just over two cents a gallon this week. The statewide average is now at $2.37 per gallon. Nationally the average price of a gallon of gas dropped almost eight cents per gallon with an average of $2.38 per gallon.

In Maine, the lowest gas prices were reported at a gas station in Bangor and Orono, with a price of $2.13 per gallon.

One month ago, the average price for a gallon of gas in Maine was $2.60. One year ago the average price in Maine was $3.51 a gallon.

The cost of a barrel of crude oil is at $46.12.
