There is no doubt that we have had some really strange weather over the last year.

After a decent summer, we had a cold and wet fall.  That was followed by one of the strangest winters that we have had in years.  We only had a couple of major snowstorms, and the snow from those storms quickly melted.  Instead, we had a winter of warmer temperatures, wind, and rain.

So far, spring has been pretty typical.

Now, it looks like we are going to get a taste of summer.

According to the National Weather Service, much of Maine will see part sunny skies today (Monday) with a high temperature of about 71 degrees.

On Tuesday, it is going to be even nicer.  It is going to be mostly sunny with a high temperature of about 73 degrees.

Later in the week, we'll return to spring weather.  From Wednesday through the weekend, we can expect cloudy skies with showers.  Temperatures for the latter part of the week will range from the mid-50s through the mid-60s.

Maine's coast will see similar weather conditions, but the temperatures will be a lot cooler.  The Portland area will see temperatures of about 65 degrees on both Monday and Tuesday.

Even though it is not going to be warm enough to hop in the pool or jump in the lake, it is going to be great to get some warmer temperatures and sunny skies.
