Now that Super Bowl 47 is over and it was won by older brother Jim Harbaugh over John Harbaugh, here’s a look at some other sibling rivalries in sports history. The brothers-facing-off-thing happened when the New York Giants’ Eli Manning played his big brother Payton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Sisters Serena and Venus Williams played each other in singles tennis finals. In baseball you had the DiMaggio brothers, Joe, who played for the Yankees, Dom, who played for the Red Sox and Vince, who played for five different National League teams. In basketball, there’s Pau and Marc Gosol, who both played professionally in Spain before joining the NBA. The one thing that makes the sibling rivalry between the Harbaugh brothers so magnified is because it happened in the the Super Bowl.
