Coming to theatres March 7 is a cartoon that dates back to 1959 called 'Peabody’s Improbable History'. It started as a fill-in cartoon for the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show and became a hit with kids and adults with 91 episodes over 5 years. The series continued its popularity in the 1960’s into the 1970’s.
Mr. Peabody and Sherman traveled through time in ‘The Wayback Machine’. They would set the dials to a year, step inside, and travel to their destination.
In the new movie called 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman', the travel machine is named the WABAC machine (way back) and stars the voice talents of Ty Burrell from Modern Family, Steven Colbert, Mel Brooks and Ariel Winter who plays Alex Dunphy on Modern Family.
