New Hampshire police have put out an arrest warrant for Punxsutawney Phil. Ground Hog Day was on February 2nd and Phil predicted 6 more weeks of winter. He didn’t predict the severity of the winter though.

With three major snowstorms since January 27th, Phil failed to mention the amount of snow we would receive. Believe it or not, people have been calling the police station to complain about Phil’s prognostication.

Police Chief Mark Doyle says it’s all in fun hoping to take a little pressure off the winter we are having. They figure Phil has left Pennsylvania already and may be holed up in Canada, although some say they have spotted him in New Orleans.

This isn’t the first time Phil has been in trouble for his prediction; in 2013 the state of Ohio indicted him for calling for an early spring, when it didn't come, which the state called 'a felony against peace and dignity of the state'.

New Hampshire has the perfect sentence in mind for Phil: ‘life in a hole without parole’.
