New Study Ranks Maine 8th In Worst Rural Roads

Summer is road construction season, and it looks like many of Maine's roads are in need of work! A recent study by 'TRIP', a national transportation research group, has ranked Maine number 8 in the nation of the percentage of rural roads in poor condition.

The study shows that Maine has 28% of their rural roads in poor condition. Maine also ranked 9th in the percentage of deficient rural bridges at 16%.
