Our 3rd annual Camp Out Hunger food drive is growing nearer and nearer, so near that I can almost feel the crisp chill in the air as we broadcast live from the Sam's Club parking lot in Augusta.

That's right, starting Tuesday, November 2nd we will live round the clock thru Saturday afternoon in campers collecting money and food donations for local area food pantries and the Salvation army.

Everything about this world has changed over the last 18 months and the need for food really is bigger than ever. Between families losing their jobs and income to the most recent food supply chain issues, this pandemic has shown the need is much bigger than we've ever seen.

Although we can fix all the problems in the world, we can do our part to make sure those within our communities aren't going to bed hungry wondering when their next meal will be; We just need your help!

Stop in to see us, we will be at the Sams Club parking lot around the clock taking donations, so stop and make a donation. Donations can be made in the form of non-perishable foods, monetary or high fives!

Here is a list of Non-perishable food donations ideas.

  • Granola Bars
  • Mac and Cheese
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly
  • Ramen Noodles
  • Ravioli
  • Spaghetti/Pasta
  • Flour/Sugar
  • Cereal

Camp out hunger is powered by Central Maine RV Rescue.  Also, thanks to Ripley and Fletcher Pre-owned sales and service, KSW FCU, US Cellular, and Bruno’s Wood Fired Pizza.
