Angry green crabs from Nova Scotia are making their way to Maine.

They have started to destroy the coastal ecosystem of the shores of Maine. They are angrier and ornery than their cousins in Maine and are eating more than their fair share on soft-shell crabs.

They also wreck native eel grass with an insane level of aggressiveness.

The green crabs in Maine are related to the ones in Nova Scotia but the Maine green crabs are calmer.

During the research, both sets of green crabs were unleashed on a bed of eel grass and the Canadian species destroyed it, and when they were trying collect some for research the Nova Scotia green crabs attacked researchers.

According to foxnews.com green crabs have been known to be particularly disruptive to existing ecosystems.
