According to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland, based on new information gathered from witness interviews and an examination of the motorcycles, police said the motorcycle that veered into the passing lane and collided with a pickup truck was operated by 25 year old Aaron White-Sevigny of Windsor, who died of injuries received in the crash. Last week, police released information that identified the second motorcyclist killed in the crash, Jamie Gross, 58, of Belmont as the rider who veered into the passing lane that set off the chain reaction crash involving the pickup truck and several motorcycles. According to McCausland, the families of both White-Sevigny and Gross have been told of the new information.

McCausland said the crash on I-95 happened during the United Bikers of Maine Toy Run as several thousand motorcycles were taking part in the event from the Augusta Civic Center to the Windsor Fairgrounds.
