UPDATE: 10:00 am- State Police say the man wanted for questioning in connection with yesterday’s hit and run death in Lewiston has been located. Evaristo Deus was located out of state this morning and is being held by a law enforcement agency, police said. His SUV has not been located at this point. Arrangements are now being made for State Police detectives to travel to the location to question Deus. Police are not disclosing where Deus is being held.

According to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland, police are looking for a blue 2001 Suzuki SUV with Maine license plates 6593 UJ and believed driven by the dead woman's boyfriend --- 33 year old Evaristo Deus, a black male 5'8" tall and weighing 160 pounds. Deus lives at 37 Union Street in Lewiston .

The dead woman, who was four months pregnant, is 32 year old Laudinha Kubeloso, who moved from Angola to Lewiston during the past year, McCuasland said. She died at a Lewiston hospital yesterday after being struck by the SUV.
