Rare Bottle of Scotch on Sale at Costco in Arizona for $17,000

At Costco, you usually buy in bulk and a little cheaper than normal, but you’ll need $17,000 if you want buy what they have on sale in Arizona. One bottle of 60 year old Macallan scotch whiskey will be on sale at a Costco store in Scottsdale, Arizona.

 Macallan made only 400 bottles of the rare aged scotch whiskey and only 72 of those will be for sale in the U.S. The distillery has made scotch whiskey since 1824 and in 2011 they released a few of the very rare Lalique Six Pillars Collection. The ‘Lalique’ refers to the French crystal house that designed the bottle.The Bottle, made of fine crystal, gas a lot to do with the price. The combination of the rare scotch and crystal bottle is what makes it $17,000.

 $17,000 sounds like a lot of money but you’re getting a discount at Costco, a bottle of the Scotch usually goes for $20,000, that breaks down to $1,000 a shot. Enjoy!
