Rory McIlroy Calls Off Wedding to Caroline Wozniacki
The wedding invitations were sent and the dress was tried on but Pro golfer Rory McIlroy decided to call off the wedding with his fiancé, Pro tennis player Caroline Wozniacki. They have been dating since 2011 and got engaged on New Year’s Eve.
Rory says it was mutual but Caroline calls the break-up a ‘hard time’ Both Pros were at the top of their field in their respective sports and Caroline was due to compete in an event in Rome but withdrew. Rory, in an earlier statement took blame for the split saying as the time got closer he realized he wasn’t ready for all that marriage entailed.
