Volunteers Rally To Help Save Lost Valley Ski Resort In Auburn

It wasn't looking good for the Lost Valley Ski Resort in Auburn. Connie King, co-owner of Lost Valley, told the Lewiston Sun-Journal that 'we didn't think we were going to get to open and we had come to the conclusion that we just weren't going to be able to do it.'

Rt 4 in Turner Woman in White…A Legend or Real?

While driving to Brad's basketball practice in Auburn from Chad's parent's house in Turner, we have to travel Route 4. When I started dating Chad and would travel out to see his parents he would say "Be careful on Route 4. It's the most treacherous piece of road in the state. There have been so many accidents."

So I have been careful. I have heard and read about the numerous accidents that have happened in the last 2 years. Little did I know that between Turner and Auburn, there have been more than 600 accidents since 2003. But I didn't know what MIGHT have caused a few of them.

No Swimming At Auburn’s Outlet Beach

Auburn's Outlet Beach opened for the season this week, but there will be no swimming allowed for the foreseeable future. Auburn City Manager Clinton Deschene told the Lewiston Sun Journal that 'the water in the outlet has failed quality tests eight of the last 13 times it was tested.'
