Crowds in downtown Bangor watched in horror on Thursday as the driver of an antique tractor was crushed to death after he fell into street and into the path of an antique firetruck during the city's annual Fourth of July parade.
The Bangor Police Department's bomb squad responded today (April 23) to a report of a grenade. A member of the public works crew discovered the grenade at 10:30 a.m. at the bottom of Davis Street and Main Street, behind an auto parts store.
A woman in Bangor was driving along in her van just after midnight this past Wednesday morning and her van hit a cat. She thought that the cat was seriously injured or dead, she placed the cat in her van and proceeded to try to get help for the cat.
