Darius Rucker is hoping to spread the true spirit of the season this Christmas by bringing toys to kids in need.

Darius Rucker has been teasing fans long enough with tidbits of what to expect on his highly-anticipated third studio album. The wait is almost over. Rucker has announced that the album, 'True Believers,' will hit stores on January 22. The 12-track album was produced by Rucker's longtime friend and producer, Frank Rogers, and contains 10 tunes co-written by the singer.

This Wednesday -- October 31 -- we celebrate the Halloween holiday nationwide. And some of country's hottest stars are especially excited for the day, as they'll get to relive their own childhoods through the eyes of their children.

Darius Rucker's 'True Believers' lyrics, like many great country songs, hit close to home. The new Opry addition penned the song with hit songwriter Josh Kear, and it's the first single from his forthcoming third studio album, slated for release in January.

It was a close vote yesterday, but a call for votes on Darius Rucker's Facebook page sent 'True Believers' to a fifth and final round of Showdown voting. His new ballad beat Kenny Chesney's 'El Cerrito Place,' taking over 70 percent of the online and phone votes via Taste of Country Nights radio.

It's a superstar Showdown to begin the week. After making short work of Craig Morgan on Friday, Darius Rucker is hoping his fans will take his new ballad 'True Believers' to win No. 4 of the five needed to advance to the Showdown Hall of Fame. With Kenny Chesney in the opposite corner, voting online and on the phone at  Taste of Country Nights radio promises to reach all-time highs.
